TCG Machines partners with webuyanycard to launch the PhyzBatch-9000 in the UK!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – January 18, 2024
Calgary, AB – TCG Machines, producer of the PhyzBatch-9000 trading card processing machine, today announced a partnership with UK-based webuyanycard that will see the launch of the PhyzBatch-9000 in the United Kingdom. Preorders for machines are now live on TCG Machines’ website at tcgmachines.com, with deliveries expected to begin in early Q2 of this year.
The PhyzBatch-9000 is a powerful tool for businesses in the trading card industry, allowing them to scan, digitally catalogue, and physically separate cards from popular trading card games like Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering. The machine can sort over 3,000 cards per hour, making it several times faster than any other commercially available card sorter. With the fastest sorting rates on the market, in combination with a host of online inventory features and patented card recognition technology, the PhyzBatch-9000 represents a significant competitive advantage for business owners. TCG Machines CEO Graeme Gordon is excited to be working with webuyanycard to bring the PhyzBatch-9000 to the UK.
“There has been tremendous interest in the PhyzBatch from card shops in the UK, and more broadly from across Europe. We are very excited to announce we have partnered with webuyanycard as our official distribution and service provider for the United Kingdom! Heimir and his team have built an impressive business and are intimately familiar with the UK-based trading card industry. We believe webuyanycard is well equipped to leverage their proven expertise and knowledge of the region to deliver high-quality customer service to our UK customers."
Heimir Pálmason, Director of webuyanycard, is keen to see the PhyzBatch-9000 come to the UK. “We are looking forward to help bring this incredible technology to the United Kingdom. There has never been anything like it available, and we are very proud to be working with Graeme and his team to offer the PhyzBatch-9000 to an entirely new market. Most UK trading card vendors still sort cards by hand, so the time and efficiency savings can help these businesses reach the next level. Anyone using the PhyzBatch will have a big advantage over the competition.”
The PhyzBatch-9000 can sort cards by rarity, set, name, card value, and many other variables - including the ability to combine sort criteria to create user-defined custom sorts. It is the only card sorter on the market that offers foil detection technology, ensuring customers do not miss valuable foil or holofoil cards while sorting. Looking to the future, the team at TCG Machines will be adding support for other popular TCGs, such as Disney’s recently launched Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece and Flesh & Blood. Aside from TCGs, the company is beginning to explore support for the sports card market.
